A person is said to be obese if his/her Body Mass Index is greater than 30. It can be calculated by dividing ones weight in Kilograms by Height in meters²
How to deal with obesity:
* Losing weight takes determination. Goal should be to lose about 0.5 to 0.75 Kg
per week
* Reduce food intake
* Walk briskly for half an hour daily
* Avoid alcohol as it has lots of energy
* Avoid sweets, chocolates, cakes, ice creams and cool drinks
* In between snacks should be completely avoided
* Use plenty of vegetables
* Try to eat at home and avoid all parties
* Reduce the meal time and total intake
* Be strict in your diet
Follow all the above and maintain your weight. Maintaining weight not only gives you a good look but also good life without heart disease, diabetes, etc.
